What Is Ceramic Coating?
Ceramic coating is a liquid polymer that chemically bonds to your vehicle's factory paint, creating a durable protective layer. Unlike wax or sealant that sit on top of paint and wash off within weeks, ceramic coating bonds to the surface and holds up far longer. It's a wear item, though: how long it lasts depends on how the vehicle is washed, stored, and driven. It's hydrophobic (water beads and rolls off), UV-resistant, and makes every future wash dramatically easier. Ceramic coating is an in-shop service: we apply it at our shop, where we control dust, sunlight, and temperature so the coating bonds properly.

How It Works
Our Process
- 01
Wash & Decontaminate
Full wash, iron fallout removal, and clay bar decontamination to prepare a perfectly clean surface.

Polish or Correct
With Polish & Coat or Paint Correct & Coat, we machine polish the paint to remove swirls and imperfections first. A coating locks in whatever is underneath.
- 03
IPA Wipedown
Every panel is wiped with isopropyl alcohol to remove any polishing oils and ensure maximum coating adhesion.
- 04
Coating Application
Ceramic coating is applied panel by panel in a controlled environment, leveled, and left to flash.
- 05
24-Hour Cure Time
The coating needs about 24 hours to cure. Keep the vehicle dry during that time. We go over aftercare with you at handoff.

Common Questions
How long does ceramic coating last?
It depends on care. Ceramic coating is a wear item, so how long it holds up comes down to how the vehicle is washed, where it's parked, and how it's driven. Regular hand washes and maintenance visits keep it working longer. Consumer-grade products sold in stores are not the same.
Do I still need to wash my car?
Yes, but washing becomes much easier and less frequent. Dirt and water bead off the surface instead of bonding to paint.
Can ceramic coating be applied to any color?
Yes. It works on any factory paint color. It's especially popular on darker colors where swirls are most visible.
Can you do ceramic coating at my home?
No. Ceramic coating is done only at our shop at 2614 Calvert Dr, Unit D, Columbia, MO, where we can control dust, sunlight, and temperature while the coating goes on. Our other services are still mobile.
How long does the appointment take?
About 4 hours. After that the coating needs about 24 hours to cure, so keep the vehicle dry and out of the rain during that time.
